Highlights

1/25/2010 - The Board of County Commissioner Voted 5-0 to enter into a contract to purchase the property located at 4425 W. 192 (old Coggin dealership) as a possible location for the Museum, funded by the Tourist Development Funds which is authorized by State of Florida Statues to fund Museums. There is a 120 day due dilligence period to allow the proper surveys, enviroment concerns and also to allow the Museum to complete a feasibility study, business and marketing plans. Upon completion of all requirements the Board of County Commissioner will again vote on this issue. IF PASSED, THE MUSEUM PROJECT WILL BE FUNDED BY TOURIST DEVELOPMENT FUNDS, NOT LOCAL TAX DOLLARS!!!.
